Il suit le fleuve Guadiana lorsqu&#039;il traverse les hautes terres et le barrocal sur son chemin vers la mer.<\/p>\n<p>Longeant la fronti\u00e8re sud-est du Portugal avec l&#039;Espagne, la Guadiana a \u00e9t\u00e9 visit\u00e9e par des marchands venus de loin depuis environ 800 avant JC, attir\u00e9s par ses rives fertiles et son vaste potentiel commercial, \u00e0 commencer par les Ph\u00e9niciens, puis les Carthaginois, les Romains et les Maures.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2165\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2165\" class=\"wp-image-2165 size-large\" title=\"Mertola, Village-Mus\u00e9e\" src=\"https:\/\/legendatours.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Mertola_Guadiana-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Mertola, Museum Village\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2165\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mertola, Village-Mus\u00e9e<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Aujourd&#039;hui, la rivi\u00e8re ne dessert plus les routes commerciales, mais les paysages int\u00e9ressants et charmants de la r\u00e9gion ainsi que sa riche histoire et son patrimoine sont un r\u00e9gal pour les visiteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Notre visite commencera \u00e0 M\u00e9rtola, connue sous le nom de &quot;village mus\u00e9e&quot;, autrefois capitale du puissant empire maure, et o\u00f9 l&#039;histoire est grav\u00e9e en couches charmantes.<\/p>\n<p>De l\u00e0, nous marcherons jusqu&#039;\u00e0 Pomar\u00e3o et Mina de S\u00e3o Domingos, o\u00f9 le <a href=\"..\/..\/?s=guadiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Guadiana<\/a> tourne \u00e0 l&#039;int\u00e9rieur des terres vers le nord-ouest. Il est devenu un port tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 au 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle suite \u00e0 l&#039;installation d&#039;une mine \u00e0 15 km au nord par une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 britannique. Le minerai \u00e9tait transport\u00e9 par voie ferr\u00e9e de la mine \u00e0 Pomar\u00e3o o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait charg\u00e9 sur des navires et descendu la rivi\u00e8re. Ce qui reste de la mine rappelle un paysage lunaire qui ne serait pas d\u00e9plac\u00e9 sur un plateau de film de science-fiction.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1872\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1872\" class=\"wp-image-1872 size-large\" title=\"Statue de contrebandier d&#039;Alcoutim\" src=\"https:\/\/legendatours.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Alcoutim_Smuggler_statue-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Alcoutim Smuggler Statue\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1872\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Statue de contrebandier d&#039;Alcoutim<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Alcoutim est une autre base de notre circuit, un village pittoresque face \u00e0 San Lucar de l&#039;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du fleuve, en Espagne. Bien que plus petit que M\u00e9rtola, c&#039;\u00e9tait un port fluvial important \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9poque des Ph\u00e9niciens.<\/p>\n<p>De l\u00e0, nous ferons de belles promenades dans la nature, y compris la \u00ab rivi\u00e8re Blue Dragon \u00bb, car le barrage d&#039;Odeleite est \u00e9galement connu en raison de sa forme particuli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le parc naturel de la vall\u00e9e du Guadiana et les paysages vari\u00e9s le long de la rivi\u00e8re offrent un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me tout \u00e0 fait unique de maquis m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, d&#039;affleurements rocheux et une toile de fond de petites terres agricoles, d&#039;eau et de moulins \u00e0 vent.<\/p>\n<p>La faune est exub\u00e9rante et le calme r\u00e8gne dans cette partie encore pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e du territoire, riche en patrimoine, histoire et merveilles naturelles.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>S&#039;\u00e9tendant sur 65 km, la Grande Route du Guadiana (GR 15) est grandiose par sa longueur et sa beaut\u00e9.
