Dit omvat de spectaculaire Ponta da Piedade, net buiten Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>Silves, de voormalige Moorse hoofdstad van de Algarve, verrijst geclusterd rond de roodstenen muren van een van de best bewaarde kastelen van de Algarve. Het domineert de heuvel en domineert de vlaktes en de oevers van de rivier de Arade.
