Idag trafikerar floden inte l\u00e4ngre kommersiella rutter, men regionens intressanta och vackra landskap och rika historia och arv \u00e4r en njutning f\u00f6r bes\u00f6karna.<\/p>\n

V\u00e5r tur b\u00f6rjar i M\u00e9rtola, k\u00e4nd som "museumsbyn", en g\u00e5ng huvudstaden i det d\u00e5 m\u00e4ktiga moriska imperiet, och d\u00e4r historien \u00e4r ingraverad i charmiga lager.<\/p>\n

H\u00e4rifr\u00e5n g\u00e5r vi till Pomar\u00e3o och Mina de S\u00e3o Domingos, d\u00e4r Guadiana<\/a> v\u00e4nder in\u00e5t landet mot nordv\u00e4st. Det blev en livlig hamn p\u00e5 1800-talet som ett resultat av att ett brittiskt f\u00f6retag slog en gruva 15 km norrut.
